Aftek is one of those insanely valued companies in India.
A cursory glance towards its figures will tell us that Aftek's market capitalization is Rs.117 crores, its Total Debt as of March 31, is Rs.79 Crores. Which makes its enterprise value at Rs.196 Crores.
On the other hand, Aftek's Cash balance alone is at Rs. 299.53 Crores. Apart from this Aftek has investments worth Rs.116 crores!
To add to all of the above, Aftek is still making some decent profits.

you are stupid to think like that. Do you even know who are Aftek's cutomers. It has made fool of every body by riding on valuations of Arexera & Seekport. Both of which went into insolvancy in June.
Seekport in switzerland has also no business and soon it will also go bankrupt
Anon,
Thanks for the info. will look into the details. Or better if you know more information do pass it on. I do not want to get into the 'who is stupid' game with anyone.
All i am thinking is, say if Aftek goes out of business tomorrow. What will the shareholders get?
Obviously something's got to be wrong with a company otherwise you would not normally expect the company to sell low....
This is always the case with valuations.
But at this point, based on the information i have, this company's market cap should at least be equivalent to its cash holding.
Typically something is always perceived to be wrong for low valued stocks.
The company or the market or the economy or the credit crunch or terror atacks...
From my personal Knowledge I can confirm that Arexera GmbH and Seekport Gmb are bankrupt, and have NO employees anymore. Furthermore there are several lawsuits against those companies and their officials. The follow-up Companies (Seekport AG, Arexera AG and especially AllSearch GmbH) are merely letterboxes in Switzerland, or bankrupt as well (and subject to police investigations).
